We implemented the FRAC-IN project, enabling effective soil remediation through hydraulic/pneumatic fracturing.
Client: Ministry of Industry and Trade
Country: Czech republic
Implementation period: 2021-2023
In the FRAC-IN project, we collaborated with clients CINEA and ABO n.v. to remediate soil at low-permeability sites in Belgium and the Czech Republic. The project, conducted from 2022 to 2026, aimed to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of the FRAC-IN technology developed under the Eurostars-Eureka program. We showcased on real sites how this technology can improve environmental quality and offer new solutions for soil contamination issues.
The FRAC-IN technology allowed us to effectively remediate soil at low-permeability sites, which is crucial for enhancing environmental quality. The project focused on practical applications of this technology and its benefits for remediating contaminated sites. The project's outcomes significantly improved environmental engineering and provided new possibilities for addressing soil contamination problems.
