As part of the project, we conducted laboratory tests of oxidation and reduction agents and subsequent pilot tests on selected chemical agents directly at the site. We carried out drilling works and ensured the installation of remediation wells. We then applied innovative remediation methods, particularly the application of oxidation and reduction agents into the saturated zone for in-situ remediation of chlorinated hydrocarbons in groundwater.
We installed a reactive barrier that allowed for secondary groundwater treatment at the site exit. Throughout the process, we continuously monitored the remediation efforts and evaluated the results of laboratory tests, pilot trials, and full-scale application of innovative remediation methods, which led to the successful completion of the project.
