The South Kuwait Excavation, Transportation & Remediation (SKETR) project in Zone 3 of the Burgan oil field involves the treatment of 2,693,000 tons of soil contaminated with hydrocarbons during the Iraq-Kuwait war.
Our primary task is to ensure the remediation of these soils using the ex-situ bioremediation method. The project consists of several key phases aimed at effectively cleaning the contaminated areas.
Currently, the laboratory testing phase for soil treatment methodology has been completed, and the technology expansion phase is underway to achieve the required soil treatment capacity.
