Location: Polsko

Duration of implementation: 07/2019 – 05/2020

Contract value: 785 000 €

More about the project

The wetland has a capacity of 180 mÂł per day, meeting the needs of up to 2,000 residents—including 250 permanent residents and thousands of tourists who visit DÄ™bowa KĹ‚oda annually. During summer, the total population of the village rises to 2,500.

The passive technology, with its natural appearance, blends seamlessly into the landscape. The result is the return of clean water to the local ecosystem and maintaining water quality in the nearby lake, which is one of the main tourist attractions of the town. Additionally, the facility complies with all environmental standards. Its sealed construction ensures year-round operation, which is critical as the surrounding areas are part of the Natura 2000 program—the largest European initiative for protecting ecologically significant sites.
